With many years experience working with autistic university students and a thorough knowledge of the university environment, I offer tailored support to help autistic individuals develop tools and strategies to prepare for this important step.
I'm experienced at helping autistic students, and their parents, transition and settle into university, offering guidance and reassurance during this challenging but exciting time. Working together we can ensure that preparing to start university is a manageable and positive experience.
With specialist qualifications and 20 years experience helping autistic people find practical ways to succeed at school and university, I offer a safe, supportive space where you can be fully yourself.
I know that no two autistic people are alike - and that's exactly why I love what I do. My goal is simple: to help you understand your autism and uncover what works best for you, and stand alongside you as you put it into practice. Together we'll turn overwhelm into clarity and self-doubt into confidence.
My expertise supporting autistic students has been recognised nationally and internationally: on radio, at international conferences and with awards- please look at my Linkedin profile.
Please be assured that I have a current, enhanced DBS certificate.
Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I work with autistic people of all ages- including adults, teenagers, and sometimes parents or caregivers looking for guidance about how best to support their loved one. My services are tailored to each person's goals and needs.
No- you don't need a formal diagnosis. Many people come to me when they are exploring whether they might be autistic, or when they identify as autistic but don't have an official label. I welcome diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and self -identifying autistic people.
In a typical consultation we'll talk about what you'd like help with- for example, challenges with work or school, executive functioning or life transitions. Together we'll figure out practical strategies that you can try straight away.
It depends on what works best for you. Some people have a single consultation and feel more confident to move forward independently. Others prefer ongoing support with regular check-ins- weekly, fortnightly or monthly. We can decide together.
I offer sessions online via video call. I aim to make the experience as comfortable and accessible as possible- just let me know what you need.
Of course! I offer a free initial chat so that you can ask questions and see if we are a good fit, and decide if you'd like to work together. There's no obligation at all- just get in touch.
